Constantin Patrick Schreiber   Harald Keller

Constantin Patrick Schreiber, born 1979, has travelled to Chad several times. As the Dubai-based correspondent of DW-TV ARABIA, an Arabic language TV-station, his trips took him to many African countries, to Chad but also to Sudan, Somalia, Mauritania and the Comoros. He first visited lake Chad in 2007 to compile a TV-documentary about this fragile biological gem. In 2009, he returned for this photo exhibition to capture the lives and wildlife at an ecosystem at peril.   Harald Keller, born 1967, has worked as a photographer in almost all corners of the world. In Myanmar, he lived with tribal people in a remote area of the rainforest to become part of their lives and capture images of their culture rarely seen. In Lebanon, he documentated atrocities committed by the Israeli army caused by air raids in the southern region in 2006. Traveling to Lake Chad for the first time, Harald was fascinated at the biological diversity in the area that hopefully can be preserved for future generations.
